Hello,
I am a very thin woman 5'6" and 108lbs.  After breastfeeding my daughter my breasts went completley flat so I was desperate for breasts, but didn't want to get implants.  I found a respected plastic surgeon to do lipo fat transfer breast augmentation.   He took fat from all around my legs(didn't touch my butt) and I was left with a few defects.  He said no problem that can be fixed easily.  After six months I returned to him (just 3 weeks ago). He took fat from my left inner thigh to transfer to the other areas.  Now, three weeks after the touch up I am already noticing defects on my left inner thigh.  I am beyond devastated over this!!  I honestly can't get myself to stop crying over this!!  I searched the web and I found you.  I know that I am supposed to wait a year after lipo to get revision, but I just wanted to ask you if you are experienced doing revisions on thin women?  I do still have fat on my butt since he never touched that area to begin with.  Are you experienced with taking fat from the butt area without defects?  If I am a candidate for lipo revision with you, atleast I can have hope!

Answer

HI Carrie,

Thank you for your question and interest. I am very experienced with revision cases as half my liposuction cases are revision.
Liposuction of the buttocks is not very common but I have done cases where the need for liposuction of this area is warranted.
I suggest you send pictures to my coordinator Jacolyn at jacolyn@expertliposuction.com. I will assess your pictures and then
let you know what is or is not possible with regards to your case. Please follow the directions closely or email her to get full instructions and photo directions. Please do not take the pictures yourself or with a cellphone.

I look forward to seeing them.

I am a 42-year old male looking to get liposuction on my stomach.  No other areas will be involved.  My wife had liposuction with you 3.5 years ago and had a great experience.

My question is: approximately how much (total, including all fees) will it cost for me to get abdominal liposuction?  I am not overweight and am in good health, just a paunch that won't respond to exercise or diet.  A ballpark figure is fine.

Thanks

Answer

Thank you very much for the compliments.  It is great to hear that your wife is happy with the results of her liposuction procedure.

With regards to my fees, I don’t price my liposuction by site, but by the length of time the procedure takes.  My surgeries take anywhere from 45 minutes to two and half hours to perform.  Liposuction to the abdomen in a male typical consists of the upper and lower abdomen, which takes approximately an hour to do.  In many times on my male patients, the “love handles” or flanks need to be done along with the abdomen to achieve the best contour.

I try to be fair with my fees, which range from $2,500 and $5,500. There is also a operating room fee for the procedure.

I would be glad to meet with you and more specifically to go over your procedure, at the present time I am still not charging for a liposuction consultation. You may contact our office for an appointment where my patient care coordinator, Jade Gerard, and I will go over any questions you may have about your procedure. To schedule a consult, call (310) 275-2467.

Hi,

Thank you so much for providing patients with the opportunity to ask questions.  I have type IV skin in the Fitzpatrick scale (Hispanic heritage) and would like to know whether you have treatments that can help lighten my skin color. I have tried 10% HQ mixed with 0.01% tretinoin with little success.  I'm not looking for my skin to be bleached white, but rather get a nice lightening effect.  I know that there's a lot of people, mainly of Asian and Hispanic interested in having lighter skin and I'm one of them.  Do you offer any services aimed at achieving this type of result?

Thank you in advance for your answer.

Answer

Hyperpigmentation, whether it is melasma, which this might be, can be difficult to treat.

It is definitely important to use an outstanding broad spectrum sun block every single day.  Unfortunately, lasers don’t have much or any role in melasma or hyperpigmentation.

There is one procedure that the aestheticians at my office have found to be helpful with both skin conditions.  Cosmelan, which is the combination of a home skin care and an in-office treatment system, is a treatment that I have, surprisingly, seen better results with than other treatments over the years.

I wish you the best of luck and feel free to call the aestheticians at the office if you have any questions at (310) 275-2467.

can you tell me the price of rhinoplasty and if you accept insurance or part insurance?

Answer

Thanks for your question.

The price of liposuction really depends on the length of the procedure and the areas being done.  I would have to fully evaluate what areas you would like to have done to let you know what the procedure will cost.

At this time, I am still not charging for a liposuction consultation. I encourage you to contact the office for a consultation appointment, so I can better answer your questions. We can be reached at (310) 275-2467.
