Question:
I had a brow lift and eyelid surgery and I think the doctor removed too much fat because the area under my eyes now looks hollow. Is there some type of procedure to fill in this area?
Answer:
Absolutely, you have the option to add fat back to the area or a filler to reduce the hollow appearance. Restylane is a great option to reduce under-eye hollowing. Fat is a more permanent option and has around a 30% take. Thank you for the question.
Question:
Does an endoscopic brow lift involve surgery? My droopy eyelids make me appear tired all the time. I am 50 years old and I have never had plastic surgery of any kind.
Answer:
Yes, an endoscopic brow lift does involve surgery. Recovery time for an endoscopic brow lift is not very long, and as long as you are in good health, performing the surgery is within reach. Please feel free to ask me any specific questions you have regarding the procedure and I would be happy to answer them for you. Thank you for the question.
Question:
I would like to know what type of brow lift you perform. I am 47 years old and have worry lines on my forehead. I have heard of a less invasive endoscopic brow lift and wonder if you do that.
Answer:
Thank you for the question. I do perform endoscopic brow lifts and I feel it is an excellent procedure that may yield fantastic results when performed properly by a highly skilled surgeon. During the procedure, a small incision is made in the hairline to insert the endoscope. The muscles that pull the eyebrow down are cut and a small amount of the tissue is removed. Removing the muscle helps weaken the frown lines. This is similar to using Botox, as the muscles will not contract and the frown lines will eventually go away. But here, the result is permanent.
