Will my facelift scars stop growing hair?

Question:Is there a chance that I will experience hair loss at the site of the incisions for my facelift? Answer:Hair loss following facelift surgery may result on occasion due to a poor scar. I design my incisions to be nearly invisible when healed, and hidden within the hairlines without hairloss.

Following lower eyelid transconjunctival fat repositioning and an upper blepharoplasty, the after photo on the right shows improvement of the tear-trough deformity.

A 35-year-old male complaining of “deep groove below my eyes.” The before photo on the left demonstrates minimal to no visible herniated lower eyelid fat with a moderate tear-trough deformity, especially of the right eye. Following lower eyelid transconjunctival fat repositioning, the hollowness is improved.
