PREOPERATIVE DIAGNOSIS:
- Deviated nasal septum.
- Bilateral nasal obstruction secondary to deviated septum, narrow internal nasal valve and turbinate hypertrophy.
- Bilateral turbinate hypertrophy.
PROCEDURE:
- Repair of nasal internal valve collapse with bilateral spreader grafts from septal cartilage.
- Submucous resection and partial resection of left inferior turbinate.
- Submucous resection and partial resection of right inferior turbinate.
- Complex septal reconstruction, submucous resection with major partial vomerectomy for correction of deviated nasal septum.
Endonasal Septorhinoplasty
FINDINGS: Spur on left, caudal septum deviated to right. Narrow middle vault.
COMMENT: This patient had trouble breathing and desired a hump reduction. Post surgery photos reveal an improved profile.
