Facelift Patient Photos

This hispanic patient was unhappy with his profile because he felt his nose "hooked" down and had a hump. On frontal view, he felt that his tip was too bulbous and his bridge and nostrils were to wide. He also felt that his right nostril was retracted causing you to see too much inside his nose. Additionally, he had a deviated septum.

Procedure: Westernization Open Rhinoplasty with Septoplasty. Nasal sill incisions (narrowing the nostrils with incisions inside the nasal sill) were performed. A composite (skin and cartilage) ear graft was placed in his right nostril to lower the nostril.

Comment: On the profile view, the hump is softened and the tip doesn't "hook". The right nostril is moderately lower.

On frontal view, the bridge and nostrils are narrower and tip is softer, yet still natural. On basal view, the open rhinoplasty incision and nasal sill incisions are healing. These are 2 month and 2 year post-operative photos.
