Dr. Paul Nasseff: Wendy looks a lot older than she is. And I think the main reason why she looks a lot older than is she is, is because of her sagging eyebrows, eyelids, jowls, and her neck tissue.

Wendy: I can't imagine how I'm going to be at the end of it.
Announcer: First stop is Spaulding Drive . L.A. 's equivalent to High Street. This where you find the surgeon's to the stars.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: Wendy. Good morning, Dr. Nasseff. I'm the facial plastic reconstructive surgeon.
Announcer: More accustom to celebrity clientele, Dr. Nasseff has drastic plans to rejuvenate Wendy's looks.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: Well, the smile lines I recommend putting a little bit of filler.
Announcer: But before she can go under the knife, he has to ascertain what needs to be done.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: The reason why you're getting your forehead wrinkles is because __________________ you feel like your eyelids are heavy.
Wendy: ____________________
Dr. Paul Nasseff: You're subconsciously elevating and when you do that you obviously going to get some wrinkles here. Like what you're doing right now, as if you're scared.
Wendy: Okay. Oh, yeah.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: So, question, but when someone feels like their eyebrows are heavy, well, their going to obviously do that, because they feel like there's a weight on their upper eyelid. And this part here is called ___________________________ we're going to make a long incision right in the crease of the eye and remove some of that skin. You know, initially it's going to be like that. Overcorrected.
Wendy: Yeah.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: Then it will settle a little bit. Possibly in the first two weeks you might not be able to close your eyes completely, that's normal. What's that going to do to the wrinkles in your forehead? Not much in the beginning. But I am going to weaken the muscle here.
Wendy: Okay.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: The muscle's of the eyebrow and the tissue around the eyebrow is what pulls the eyebrow down. So I'm going to do a complete release of all the tissues. Now let's go down to your jowls. You're not a candidate for lower face again . Do I even see liposuction of this area. Well, I will do a little bit of liposuction of this area, but I want to be conservative. Yes, there is some fatty tissue here, but there's something called, where as all of us would know, the Adams Apple?
Wendy: Yeah.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: And the higher the Adams Apple is up towards your jaw line the better of a neck you can have. Okay. The lower it is, but your's is a little bit low, a more oblique of an angle you're going to have.
Wendy: Right.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: So even if I do something to actually correct this, it's going to improve it, it's not going to make it perfect. Our goal is to actually give you a more rejuvenated look, refreshed in the eyes.
Announcer: Wendy has had her first consultation and there's a lot to consider.
Wendy: There's not with the way your changing the droopy eyebrow or a droopy lower lid or anything like that, you can't - you can do exercises whatever, but it's not going to change it. This is the only way that's going to sort of, really change it. You know, and that's the opportunity that I've got here. I'm going to run with it, I tell you.

It makes you look matronly almost. And for you, I think you would look sexy, younger, and thinner with a smaller breast that is uplifting. And this is sort of what I would expect your breast to look like. In general a breast lift and/or a breast reduction does a very good job in terms of durable, of repositioning the nipple and the areola into a more desirable position. And I'd like to show you where I would plan to put the nipple. It would be somewhere about here, believe it or not. Let's take a look at the belly. What I see, when I look at your belly, Wendy, yeah, you see those little stretch marks, we'd like to take those away. I think, that you would be an excellent candidate for an abdominal plasty or tummy tuck. And the way we plan a tummy tuck is, we generally make an incision very low, right above the pubic hair. And it extends out this way towards the hips. But by making that incision, it allows me to remove all that skin -
Wendy: Yeah, get rid of it.
Dr. Gerald Minete: - and toss it. Right. Well I think, that his looks good but not - I think it'd have a super result.
Announcer: A super result will also involve liposuction. But the most drastic change will be her breasts.
Dr. Gerald Minete: Making the breasts smaller and lifting it up is going to literally take the weight off her shoulders.
Wendy: The breasts of mine, I've learned to live with them and dealt with them over the years and to have them like, sort of, rejuvenated it's just like fantastic.

Dr. Bill Dorfman: This filling is a piece of cake. You're lowers actually aren't too bad. I think, if we whiten them and I just reshape them a little bit we can push them into place. Now, your upper teeth need to be longer. You're just not showing enough tooth when you smile. So we'll lengthen them, we'll make them more even, I'll fill in this little gap for you. you'll look American.
Wendy: (Laughter) Thanks.
Dr. Bill Dorfman: Bye-bye.
Wendy: Thank you.
Dr. Bill Dorfman: What I'd like to do is use the Zoom Whitening, get her teeth eight shades whiter and then with six porcelain veneers, I can not only make her teeth perfectly straight, I can fill in this little space here. She will have a really beautiful sexy smile.

Wendy: I don't know how ______ I'm am. True and Kate make me relax. Chilled out. Wont be seeing ______________and telling them.
Announcer: In the next few hours, Wendy's body shape is going to be totally transformed by pioneering liposuction expert, Dr. David Amwron.
Dr. David Amwron: Wendy's not really as large as she perceives herself to be. But she does have these unwanted pockets of fat and what I'm going to do is sculpt a more appealing body contour.
Announcer: Before Wendy goes to the O. R. Dr. Amwron has to mark up the areas where he'll remove fat.
Dr. David Amwron: This whole area you see brought down, three dimensionally pinched in will all shrink in, because you're great through here. You've got lean legs but you're fuller in this area here. Keep yourself covered.
Announcer: Now that she's been marked up, Wendy is ready for her procedure. Time to lay back and think of England .
Dr. David Amwron: Remember that I do this under local anesthesia, so I have an awake patient in there. And what I'm going to do is just insert this small little, thin metal tube.
Announcer: Dr. Amwron first anesthetizes the area where he's going to suck out the fat.
Dr. David Amwron: You okay, hon?
Wendy: I feel a bit nervous, but don't feel like overly tense.
Dr. David Amwron: Good. Good. Tell you a little poke.
Wendy: I felt that little bit then, just that little bit. That felt like a pinch. Well overall it just feels like you've got something heavy laying on me stomach, really. Like the cat laying on me or something like that.
Announcer: The area is now numb.
Dr. David Amwron: We're going to start liposuction, okay?
Wendy: Okay.
Dr. David Amwron: This is going to go pretty quickly.
Announcer: The entire procedure will be done in under an hour.
Dr. David Amwron: My whole goal is to balance somebody's shape out. To create a properly proportioned body so when somebody gains or loses weight they then do it proportionately. And we are readying some beautiful pure fat out. I guess we will probably end up getting about two to three liters of fat from Wendy. But our getting lighter with every stroke.
Wendy: I can hear it sloshing sometimes. (Laughter)
Dr. David Amwron: Okay. We're just about done. It's really fantastic. This is significantly flatter than when we begin. In fact there's just a very thing area of fat remaining.
Announcer: Wendy will be swollen for a couple of days, but three liters of fat have gone.
Dr. David Amwron: With regards of whether or not the fat returns, it really doesn't. whatever is removed, is removed and it's gone. It does not return to those areas again.
Announcer: It will take a few days to fully recover. Then Wendy will be ready to move on to the next stage in her transformation. And the changes will be even more dramatic.
Wendy: This is me. This is the last night you see me, my old self. I'll be the new me tomorrow.
Announcer: It's an early start.
Wendy: Just going for my early surgery today. On my face and my boobs.
Announcer: Wendy has a full day of surgery ahead. She's going to have her face and breasts lift at the same time. It requires careful preparation.
Dr. Gerald Minete: What she needs is a both a reduction and a lift. The lift is obviously going to make her breast pretty and they're going to bring them up where they belong up on her chest. The longevity of a breast lift is dependant on the size of the breast. The smaller I can make this breast, the lighter. And the lighter the breast the longer the lift. So she's going to get a two for one here.
Announcer: It will be a radical change. And Wendy still has worries.
Wendy: And you said they will still be quite large and full.
Dr. Gerald Minete: Yes.
Wendy: But just not, you taking, you taking just enough away so they don't-
Dr. Gerald Minete: Correct.
Wendy: - drop.
Announcer: It's a lot to comprehend. As her biggest problem has also been her biggest asset.
Dr. Gerald Minete: And they're going to come together like this and meet there. And this, as you can see this little cross here will be where your nipple is. And so we could, might imagine it an areola that kind of already looks like.
Announcer: With her breasts ready for the op, it's time for her face. Dr. Nasseff makes his blueprint for his part of her operation.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: Scrunch your frown lines, there you go. Okay, relax.
Announcer: To him cosmetic surgery is as much an art as it is a science.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: Okay, do me a favor. Will you bite down for me. Good, get that muscle nice and firm here. Great. I'm marking the little incisions that we'll be doing for the brow. I'm making a mark around your mouth and some of the areas where I'm not going to go actually. You're going to put all the trust in me and I'm going to do a fantastic job for you.
Wendy: I will.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: I'll see you soon.
Wendy: Thank you very much, thank you.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: Okay. I see you in there.
Announcer: It's quite extraordinary to have two of the worlds leading cosmetic surgeons simultaneously carrying out one drastic transformation.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: We work very well together. Plus it's nice we have one anesthetic for these simultaneous face and body procedures being preformed. It's safer for the patient.
Announcer: But as liposuction of the face can be both traumatic and vigorous. This procedure needs to be done before the breast work begins.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: Liposuction of the face and the jowls is removing the excess fat, specially in the lower part of the neck. And sometimes no matter how much you diet, how much you exercise it doesn't go away. And this is always a troublesome area for many patients. So this helps get rid of the fat and it's fat cells on a permanent basis.
Announcer: Dr. Minete scrubs in to begin his part of the operation.
Dr. Gerald Minete: Dr. Nasseff is doing the brow lift right now, which is a good time to get started. Breast reduction surgery doesn't shake the table and so, I think that we'll be able to work simultaneously without getting into each other's way what so ever.
Announcer: Dr. Minete prepares for the breast reduction, while Dr. Nasseff has begun Wendy's brow lift to reduce her frown lines. He's made a small incision in her hairline to introduce the endoscope.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: Right now what I'm doing is, I'm working on the muscles that pull the eyebrow down. And I'm cutting the muscles and I'm going to remove a little bit of the tissue of those muscles. But as we snip this, the muscle it helps weaken the frown line that she has. It's pretty much like using Botox, which means the Botox makes the muscle not contract. And when that happens the line goes away.
Announcer: But the effects of Dr. Nasseff's brow life are long lasting. And unlike Botox she won't be left with a frozen expression.
Dr. Gerald Minete: So now we've removed these two triangles of skin and fat. And we've removed a portion of her breast here, and a portion of her breast here. And there's the nipple sitting still well attached to this pedicle.
Announcer: To reshape the contour of the breast, Dr. Minete repositions the nipple about two inches higher than it's originally location.
Dr. Gerald Minete: As you might imagine if could just sew that together, starting to look like a breast again. Thank goodness.
Announcer: Four hours into the op and Dr. Nasseff begins removing the hooding from Wendy's eyes.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: We've already elevated her eyebrows and you can already see her eyelids here. So we're not going need to do a lot of skin removal here.
Announcer: It's a common problem in women over 35. And Wendy will be pleased to see it go. Her breast, too, are taking on a dramatic new look.
Dr. Gerald Minete: I'm liking what I see. The nipples are underneath these little flaps, and I've got to bring them back to the surface.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: It takes a fine stitch to close it.
Dr. Gerald Minete: I'd say she's probably in the 38 cup size she's a C, or a small D. and that where she wanted - she was okay with that.
Dr. Paul Nasseff: Now we're going to inject Restolene , which is a filler into her smile lines.
Announcer: And with a few final stitches, it's almost over.
Dr. Gerald Minete: So we're putting the finishing stitch on here around the nipple.
Announcer: After seven hours it's another successful operation for the dynamic duo. Together they've rejuvenated Wendy's looks and body.

Dr. Paul Nasseff: From the face standpoint. It went perfect, I mean, it went really, really well and everything went great. So, I mean, just it was just a nice rhythm that we had and everything went great for her.

Dr. Gerald Minete: What's the matter dear?
Announcer: But it doesn't all go according to plan.
Wendy: What the hell have you ever done?

Dr. Gerald Minete: Wendy is a type of person that has genetic capacity to put a lot of her fatty tissue around the mid part of her body, due to the fact that she's had a previous child. The skin is in excess and the abdomen, too. So it's sort of taking two things and getting rid of them in one fail swoop.
Dr. Gerald Minete: You're going to start feeling like melted butter.
Wendy: I'm going now.
Dr. Gerald Minete: I'll start with a lower incision and then we work our way up. And we don't commit to the upper incision until the final part of the operation.
Announcer: Dr. Minete has to get access to the abdominal wall. That's the muscles underneath the skin to get rid of all Wendy's excess fat.
Dr. Gerald Minete: The skin and fat that I remove is going to weigh about three or four pounds. But its certainly a lot different than losing three or four pounds on a diet, because it's all focused into a small area. So it has a much greater effect.
Announcer: It looks brutal, but this is just redundant fat and tissue.
Dr. Gerald Minete: I am just separating the belly button from this surrounding tissue. It will stay intact on it's blood supply. We call it the stalk. So it's position really remains unchanged. Everything else around it slides pass it. there's the belly button. We've flexed the bad, we've released all the tissues. My proposed line seems to be about right. So we're just going to go ahead and take it. so let's see here.
Announcer: With almost three kilos of fat gone, Wendy will be able to look down on her bikini line for the first time in 13 years.
Dr. Gerald Minete: I cut the belly button out.

Announcer: She's worried about the unveiling.
Dr. Gerald Minete: Oh, okay. Well, I think what we should do is just unveil them so we can see them.
Announcer: All right.
Wendy: When he showed me, I felt like I'd lacked more than half to the size of my breasts. I must admit they are a bit smaller than I'm use to. Inside I was like, thinking, what the hell have you ever done. So drastic a change, it's unbelievable.
Dr. Gerald Minete: Look this way. Turn this way to the side. The truth of the matter is, I think, Wendy's a little bit more upset than normal. And I think it has to do with her situation, being in this environment so far away from home. You're great.
Wendy: Thank you very much.
Dr. Gerald Minete: She really hasn't lost much other than the old appearance. She has a new breast that really is virtually almost is full and certainly much more projecting off her chest.
Wendy: I don't believe him yet, (Laughter) I will believe him, I'm sure, in
time, but the moment I don't. And that's just my insecurity the way that I feel.
Announcer: Wendy's anxious that her new breast size will effect her sexuality. Which is partly fueled by worrying what her husband, Paul, will think. Especially as he was pretty fond of the old ones.
Wendy: What do you say.

Wendy: In my minds eye, I'm actually seeing they don't match up, whatever. I think I sort of got the two ends of the spectrum closer together and see if that bad really what's happened now. It's too late, can't do a bloody ____________.
Announcer: Throughout her transformation Wendy has been under the watchful eye of clinical psychologist, Dr. Patricia Pitts.
Dr. Patricia Pitts: I think her new breast look great. It's just going to take her some time to get use to them. Get use to what she really looks like, an elegant woman.

Announcer: To help her adjust to her body changes, Wendy is on route to a session with Dr. Pitts. But after her night of turmoil, she's already feeling better about her breast surgery.
Wendy: When I spoke to him yesterday, he was more upset that he thought that he'd given me something that I didn't merely want. So he was please about my attitude has changed a bit. And I am as well, really, because I wouldn't like to have felt the way that I felt the other day, I was devastated.
Dr. Patricia Pitts: Even after the transformation Wendy's biggest challenge is going to be being comfortable in her own skin. Since she's always been uncomfortable in her body.
Announcer: Dr. Pitts specializes in body image. And has developed an exercise to help patients see themselves as they really are.
Dr. Patricia Pitts: And you're going to draw how you see your body.
Wendy: (Laughter) All right.
Dr. Patricia Pitts: Okay? I believe she's always had distorted body image.
Wendy: Oh, it's not very good is it. I'm not very good at ___________.
Dr. Patricia Pitts: This is probably rooted in being the first in her peer group to have had large breasts.
Wendy: I don't know if this is now or before. If it's before I may have gone light. Like, really, probably drawn my best then.
Dr. Patricia Pitts: Wendy needs to stop seeing herself as a large and unattractive woman. And see herself as the beautiful woman she is.
Announcer: Dr. Pitts draws Wendy's actual size. This illustrates how distorted Wendy's image of herself.
Dr. Patricia Pitts: What I find very interesting about this, is how much bigger you drew yourself than what your actual size is. I'm going to give her a challenge to test her body image. If she could see what we could see, she would be much, much less hard on herself.
Announcer: Dr. Pitts challenged for Wendy will take her across town and way outside her comfort zone.

Announcer: Wendy's in at the deep end. Her challenge is to pose as a Life model. Can she lose her inhibitions and turn around a change in attitude to fit with her new body. And find the confidence to pose naked for a group of 20 strangers.
Dr. Patricia Pitts: A lesson she'll learn from this is to have a more accurate image of what her body really looks like.
Announcer: Dr. Pitts aim is to empower Wendy.
Wendy: Oh God, I feel sick.
Announcer: This is to help her gain a more positive attitude towards her new breasts and body.

Announcer: Three weeks ago, she wouldn't pose in a bikini. Now Wendy has the confidence to let it all hang out.
Wendy: It has helped me through this process, 110 percent. My whole attitude has changed, you know, a lot towards these - let's say I'm a lot more comfortable with how they set and hopefully I'll be okay and so, yeah, I'm more positive about it. It's really good.

Wendy: So I'm to see you.
Kendrick Osario: Um, for Wendy, I've chosen a very seasoned designer by the name of Kevin Hall. Kevin is known for being a very glamorous, feminine designer. Plunging necklines, split sort of like the Diana Ross era.
Wendy: What can you do to help this?
Kevin Hall: Follow me.

Kendrick Osario: Kevin and I had a meeting prior and we talked about her sum measurements and what would be best for fitting for her.
Wendy: I might not fit into these. You might think I'm thinner than I am.
Kevin Hall: Normally that happens when you're doing the Oscars or the Grammy's you have a fitting tier. And what we basically want to do is narrow this down to the dress or the ________
Kendrick Osario: Oh my God. God, too. Oh. Now that's a dress to have.
Kevin Hall: Not bad, uh?
Wendy: No, not bad at all.
(Laughter)
Announcer: Not bad for starters, but Kendrick's looking for something with the real wow factor.
Kendrick Osario: Okay darling, let's see.
Kevin Hall: Whoa.
Kendrick Osario: Wow.
Kevin Hall: This is great.
Kendrick Osario: Wow.
Wendy: You can see me knees.
Kendrick Osario: I love your knees.
Kevin Hall: We love the knees. You've got a nice, nice legs there.

Announcer: It will be her Cinderella moment. And she'll look better than she ever dreamt possible. It's the day of Wendy's reveal and that means a very early start. To complete her transformation, Wendy's first stop is guru's Chas Dean's west Hollywood studio.
Chas Dean: Wendy's hair is badly damaged. I attribute that to the bleach and the flat iron. It does nothing for her skin tone, it just washes her out. Look at your ends, you will not be able to grow your hair if you keep flat ironing it. what I'm going to do is go in and really condition it up, really rich tone, go through and cut into it, soft and choppy. It doesn't do either one of us any good for me to leave that one there.
Announcer: Fixing her hair takes hours, skill, patience, and attention to detail will rid Wendy of years of abuse.
Chas Dean: No more bleach for you, thank God. I guarantee with your color you'll be somewhere between ultra strawberry blonde and black.

Wendy: It has been almost like how much that one big wave. I'm happier in lots of ways then I was before.
