Question:I am female with a heavy beard on the underside of my chin going down into my neck. Shaving there gives me terrible rashes and many ingrown hairs. It is always irritated and uncomfortable. Would laser hair removal be able to get those ingrown hairs?Answer:

Laser hair removal will not get rid of the ingrown hairs. The hairs do have to be expelled from the skin, shaved, then treated with the IPL hair removal system. As the areas are treated the incident of ingrown hairs are decreased. The removal of the hair will prevent re-growth and the problems of ingrown hairs in the future.

Will it be noticeable if I only have laser hair removal for my upper lip?

Question:I am female 54 years old and thinking about laser hair removal for my face. If I just had my chin and upper lip done, does that look odd? I mean, will it be noticeable that some of my face is hairless while I have fine hairs on my cheeks?Answer:

If you just have your chin and upper lip treated by laser hair removal, there should not be a noticeable line so to speak. The hair will blend nicely and will not be noticeable. Often with facial hair some of the coarse hair will not grow back and others will become fine like the other facial hair.
