I used to get electrolysis for facial hair removal but would like to try the permanent laser hair removal. How many times would I have to undergo the procedure on my chin to remove the hair permanently? Will it redden my face?
Answer:
There is no such thing as permanent hair removal with either system. It is a permanent hair reduction, but you do experience no hair growth for years. Then gradually hair does start to grow back but fine and it will never be the same amount, but very minimal growth. It rarely causes redness on your face. but if the hair is thick you may get some redness. If your face gets red it is immediately after treatment, but this goes away after 15-20 minutes. We; however apply cortisone cream, wich calms the redness in minutes. It takes anywhere from 3 -6 treatment the depending on the thickness and color of hair.
