BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Amron was raised in Los Angeles and attended the University of California, Los Angeles and the University of California, San Diego. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. He then returned to California for his postgraduate education.

Dr. Amron served his internal medicine internship at Cedars Sinai Medicine Center, Los Angeles. After completing his internship he was awarded the prestigious Dermatology Foundation Research Fellowship and completed two years of scientific and clinical research at UCLA, primarily working on growth characteristics of skin cancer. He then completed his dermatology residency at the University of California, San Diego Medical Center, receiving extensive training in both clinical dermatology and dermatologic surgery. Prior to being in partnership with Dr. Nassif and starting Spalding Drive Cosmetic Surgery and Dermatology, Dr. Amron has spent the previous several years in private practices in busy dermatology and cosmetic surgery practice in Sherman
Oaks, California.

Dr. Amron is a board certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Academy of Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Liposuction Surgery, American Society for MOHS Surgery and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Amron has published numerous articles in dermatologic journals and has been an author for dermatologic surgery and medical textbooks. He has lectured nationally to the medical community on skin diseases and gives informative talks on dermatologic surgery to various other distinguished groups. In addition, he has served as a peer manuscript reviewer for the Journal of Dermatologic Surgery and the Archives of Dermatology.

In addition to excelling in general clinical dermatology, Dr. Amron has a special interest in skin cancer, MOHS surgery as well as cosmetic dermatology. He is well respected for achieving consistently outstanding results with his pure tumescent liposuction surgery. He has been instrumental in teaching other surgeons his liposuction technique: demonstrating how rapid recovery time is. He is an outspoken advocate for making the public aware of mini liposuction which is performed in less than one hour.



Dr. Amron has been featured on KCBS Channel 2 News, Fox Good Day LA., KCBS Women to Women, and on KCAL Channel 9 News, EXTRA, Inside Edition, ABC News and VH1, where Dr. Amron was filmed performing his famous mini liposuction live, highlighting his impressive results while speaking with the patient during the entire procedure. He has also been featured in numerous studies on dermatology and cosmetic surgery in various magazines and newspapers articles. Additionally, Dr. Amron has demonstrated on television the use of the V-Beam laser for the treatment of rosacea and broken capillaries.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Amrons main interest is music. He is an accomplished guitarist, singer and songwriter. He also enjoys skiing, fishing and playing tennis. Dr. Amron maintains strong spiritual and religious ties to his community, where he serves as an active member of his synagogues board of directors.
